Complete Bike: Pure Fix (Original)

Pure Fix Cycles starts with the simplicity and elegance of an urban geometry frame and straight fork made from durable high tensile steel. All Pure Fix bikes give you the ride and connected feel you need and want from your fixie. A neco threadless headset holds zoom riser handlebars with Oury grips on a promax stem. The classic neco saddle gets the job done, without frills, and it keeps the weight down. Radius front brakes stop when asked and are easily removed for a purist ride. Wellgo pedals and cages connect you to a lasco three piece sealed bearing crankset. The gear ratio is 44:16 with 74.25 gear inches using a Kmc chain. Hubs are custom Pure Fix lasered KT quandos. Tubes and tires are a nod to control and contact with Kenda 700c x 28. Pressure retention is courtesy of 60mm presta valves. All this joy comes out with a weight of 22-24 lbs, depending on size.

        Fixed bike runs on a single-speed drive train. The Pure fix bikes come with 44T sprocket in front, and 16T cog at the rear. This’s a good combination for great speed, and climbing. If you really need a fast rolling bike, you will probably have to change the front sprocket to a bigger size such as 46/48/50 etc. 🙂

        You can try out the Pure Fix bikes when they turn available by next week. 🙂

Can I know how these bikes match up to the United soloist 71/77 range in terms of quality and performance? These are on my shortlist too and they are priced at the lower end of $400. I’m not too familiar with United soloist bikes, so perhaps you can share a link of the bike’s spec so that I can take a closer look at them, and do a comparison for you. So far, we have yet to see any returned customer with issue with the Pure Fix bikes and so I’m dare to say our bike’s quality is there! 🙂

      I’m sorry but we have already run out of stock for all our Pure Fix complete bikes. Next batch we will have Papa, and Juliet in size 47cm by mid-late Dec. There isn’t anymore stock of size 50cm so probably have to wait till end of Jan.

      For your height, both sizes are okay. For size 47cm, you just have to adjust the seatpost higher.

      The Tango in size 54cm will be available in the next shipment which is likely to leave factory on the first week of Jan. In another word, it will arrive around the 3rd, or 4th week of Jan.       You can fit any chainring up to 50+T as long as you get the chainring in the same BCD as the crank you are using. Echo 50 will only be restock by next month.
